The main body fabric is woven with 66 nylon at a high density in a twill weave using strong warp yarn (70d) and weft yarn (210d), then dyed using high-pressure vat dyeing. Subsequently, it is treated with m-coat™, a master-piece proprietary water-repellent finish.

Compared to conventional water-repellent treatments, m-coat™ offers significantly superior water repellency and abrasion durability. Through specialized technology, the water-repellent agent is structured on the fiber surface, realizing both excellent water repellency and durability. While most water-repellent products lose their water-repellent performance through repeated use and washing, m-coat™ achieves Bundesmann water-repellency grade 4 even after 100 washes. The water-repellency performance is tested using the more rigorous Bundesmann test (※) rather than the spray test (JIS-L1092) traditionally used in measurement standards.

The back surface of the fabric is finished with Breathatec® by Toray Coatex Corporation. This is a polyurethane wet microporous coating material using proprietary polymer technology, offering high water resistance. The polyurethane coating material uses polycarbonate, which excels in durability. With m-coat™'s water-repellent function deflecting water and Breathatec®'s water-resistant function preventing water penetration, this is a material designed to withstand torrential downpours and heavy rain. The attached leather is carefully selected premium Japanese steer leather. During dyeing, the water-repellent agent from 3M is added to the drum to penetrate deep into the leather fibers.

The back and sides of the leather, as well as scratched areas, continuously prevent water infiltration. This is waterproof and stain-resistant leather that has passed 3M's SCOTCHGARD® monitoring test. Since the test is conducted even after the surface is scraped, the effectiveness does not diminish.

Embossing creates a more refined and elegant appearance and, compared to smooth finishes, is more resistant to scratches. Oils and tannins are carefully selected to keep the weight as light as possible. The zipper tape uses WATER-R, which has been treated with a simple water-repellent finish.

If the main material remains wet for extended periods, the back coating may peel or deteriorate. Always dry thoroughly before storing. As this is not completely waterproof, water infiltration through zippers, seams, and needle holes cannot be prevented. Please be cautious. Creases may remain on the fabric surface due to bending. The attached leather may have slight color variation. Please be aware that color fading and discoloration cannot be avoided due to the material's inherent properties. Although SCOTCHGARD® water-resistant treatment is applied, water infiltration at seams and part boundaries is unavoidable. If the nylon material remains wet for extended periods, the back PVC may peel or deteriorate. Always dry thoroughly before storing. Product specifications are subject to change without notice.
