After drying, dyes and waterproofing agents are added into the drum, allowing the chemicals to penetrate deep into the leather, creating a waterproof base.
This base is then placed into an empty drum and further processed, enhancing the naturally soft raw hide through chrome tanning and various treatments. The result is a supple leather with a moist, smooth texture that feels as if it adheres to the hand.
To preserve this texture, the leather is finished using dyes only.
