Product Description

The main body material uses master-piece’s original fabric “MASTERTEX-09™,” which combines durability, water resistance, and water repellency.

Manufactured at certified factories that meet INVISTA’s CORDURA® brand fabric production and quality standards, this fabric is woven using two-ply twisted yarns: 840d yarns in the warp and 420d Hollofil Air™ (hollow 66 nylon yarn) in the weft, aligned in pairs. It meets CORDURA® brand fabric standards and provides excellent resistance to abrasion, tearing, and fraying.

A PU coating is applied to the reverse side, and a special breathable waterproof film, L-VENT®, is laminated to further enhance water resistance. Bonded with tricot nylon, this results in a three-layer construction.

The accessory materials consist of two types of leather and fabric. The leather used on the front face is crafted from carefully selected fine-fiber hides, tanned with oils to create a water-repellent velour leather.

Without a grain layer, it offers excellent breathability while maintaining thickness and firmness. Its long pile creates a warm, distinctive surface texture.

The leather used for other parts has passed the monitoring tests of 3M™ SCOTCHGARD®, providing both water and stain resistance.
Carefully selected high-quality domestic steer leather is used, and during the tanning process, a 3M™ waterproofing agent is added to the drum to allow deep penetration into the leather.

After dyeing and oiling to create the base, a 3M™ waterproofing agent is also sprayed during the finishing stage to further enhance water resistance.

The monitoring tests are conducted even after the surface is abraded, ensuring that the effectiveness does not diminish.

Materials used on the bottom and other areas include INVISTA’s 1680d CORDURA® Ballistic nylon, which offers approximately five times the abrasion resistance, tear strength, and durability of standard nylon. A PVC coating on the reverse side further enhances strength and water resistance.

The bag also features a variety of thoughtfully designed pockets in both the interior and exterior, in multiple sizes, ensuring usability in both on- and off-duty situations.

Attention

This product is not completely waterproof. Please note that water may penetrate through stitched areas such as needle holes. If nylon materials are left wet for extended periods, the backing film may peel or deteriorate, so be sure to dry thoroughly before storage. The water-repellent finish is applied to the surface and may gradually diminish due to friction during use. Additionally, dust and dirt adhering to the fabric can reduce water repellency. After use, we recommend gently brushing off dirt and regularly applying a commercially available water-repellent spray.

The attached suede lacks a grain layer, so water may seep in if it remains on the surface for a period of time. The attached leather may exhibit natural wrinkles or marks unique to each hide. Please note that color transfer, fading, or discoloration may occur due to friction.
