"Surface" is a series born in the 2009-2010 AW season. The base model for this time, SURFACE Leather Ver. No. 01063-l, is a compact shoulder bag that was inspired by the trend at the time when the style of wearing an outdoor waist bag across the body was popular. It was designed from the beginning to be worn cross-body.
When thick leather is tanned, a large amount of oil is used to create a soft textured base, which is then colored with dye, creating a heavy yet soft texture. It was supported by many users due to its simple design that goes well with any style.

Leather
The main body is made of full-grain leather from Curtidos Badia, a long-established Spanish tanner founded in 1889. The company, based in Igualada, a city with a history of over 700 years of leather industry, supplies high-quality leather to global luxury brands. The rich grain created by the natural shrink process, elegant luster, and moist texture create a flavor that deepens the more you use it.
Hardware
The zipper uses EXCELLA®, one of the highest quality zippers manufactured by YKK. By carefully polishing the entire surface of each element, we have achieved the beautiful shine unique to metal and a smooth, high-quality operating feel. The handle uses a master-piece original part with a rotating mechanism. We pursue functionality and beauty in every detail.
Hardware
The tape uses nylon hollow fibers, and by applying a unique pre-treatment to the fibers, it achieves both strength and lightness. Furthermore, the elegant twill weave gives it just the right amount of volume and a smooth, gentle feel reminiscent of silk.
Evolved Details
In addition to upgrading the materials, this model also features improvements in usability. There is a new zipper pocket on the back, and D-rings are placed on both sides. We have updated it into a sophisticated product with improved storage and expandability, without sacrificing the practicality of a master-piece.

This item comes with a special interior name exclusive to Black members and a removable original charm. It is engraved with "DESIGNED FOR BLACK MEMBERS", and every detail is made with the attention to detail that is unique to a limited edition model.
